Job Responsibilities

The chief electromechanic was responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all the plant’s production equipment. His responsibilities included planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance work, diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures, as well as supervising a team of technicians. The incumbent was also responsible for managing spare parts inventories and working closely with the production department to minimize machine downtime.
