Joining this plant in Montérégie means joining one of the largest agri-food production facilities in North America. With about twenty production lines and an annual capacity of nearly 200,000 tons, it plays a key role in the industry.

In this position, you will ensure that the performance of the equipment is maximized by identifying opportunities for improvement and bringing projects to fruition. You will be an integral part of the maintenance team, composed of about fifty employees, and will collaborate closely with the project team.

Responsibilities:

• Identify trends in equipment breakdowns and determine the preventive measures to be put in place.
• Analyze recurring problems and propose action plans.
• Optimize preventive maintenance tasks.
• Develop improvement programs and support predictive maintenance.
• Assist technical supervisors in the design of equipment.
• Standardize the knowledge of maintenance personnel.
• Provide technical support in problem solving.
• Evaluate and optimize maintenance costs.
• Ensure that technical documentation and the master plan of the plant are updated.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Profile sought:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or food engineering.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the food industry (asset).
• Bilingualism essential (French/English).
• Results orientation and team spirit.
• Ability to plan, organize and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and file follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Knowledge of MAXIMO and POKA (asset)
