Responsibilities:
- Coordinate excavation, backfilling and earthworks.
- Manage work teams, subcontractors and clients, while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Plan and coordinate each phase of excavation projects.
- Implement site planning for optimal execution.
- Prepare turnkey budget proposals, including plans and specifications.
- Evaluate quantities of materials and labour and equipment costs.
- Maintain and develop relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Write various progress and follow-up reports. (cost tracking, extras tracking, invoicing)
- To apply and promote good occupational health and safety practices.
Profile sought:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or Estimating.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the excavation field.
- Solid knowledge of construction and project management.
- Meticulousness, rigor and developed analytical skills.
- Proactivity and ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
