Great opportunity to join a world leader in aeronautics and a favorite company as a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor.

Main responsibilities:

Occupational Health and Safety:

  • Comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental programs and support the OHS coordinator and the HR team.
  • Manage plant health programs (audiometric testing, health hazards, heat stress, mobile equipment, respiratory protection, etc.).
  • Follow up on employee injuries and illnesses.
  • Schedule on-site medical visits and prepare required documentation.
  • Manage and maintain the OHS website.
  • Provide monthly statistics on OHS incidents.
  • Maintain SDS and chemical databases.
  • Manage sampling databases.
  • Perform workshop audits on various OHS aspects.
  • Provide support to OHS SPAs during audits.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s OHS rules and regulations.
  • Wear the required protective equipment and follow the safety instructions.
  • Report any hazards, dangerous acts or accidents according to company procedures.

Human resources:

  • Provide administrative support to HR advisors on various aspects (payroll, HR database, benefits, etc.).
  • Provide a variety of information to employees.

Ethics and Values:

  • Respect the company’s values and code of ethics.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest and maintain management trust.
  • Represent the interests of the company with professionalism.
  • Seek consistent feedback from internal and external customers.
  • Take personal responsibility for the quality of the services rendered.

Required skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to learn new software.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
  • Sense of priorities and urgency.
  • Respect for the confidentiality of information.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • University or college degree in health and safety or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
