Our client: WestRock is a global giant in the field of packaging solutions. With some 50,000 employees in around 300 commercial and operational facilities in 30 countries around the world. WestRock recovers and recycles 8 million tons of fiber and ships approximately 13 million tons of cardboard and 6 billion beverage cartons.

As for the WestRock plant in La Tuque, it mainly manufactures cardboard for packaging and the food sector. It employs nearly 475 people.

Summary of the position

Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent, your main duties will include managing and motivating electrical and instrumentation maintenance personnel to safely perform their tasks as well as the daily planning of various maintenance and repair work in your area.

Requirements

• University education in electrical engineering or college in industrial electronics;
• Five (5) years of experience or more in a comparable supervisory position;
• Knowledge of the pulp and paper sector and bilingualism are assets;
• Good knowledge of computer tools;
• Reside in La Tuque (or surrounding areas).

*Note: Any application with other training, but combined with relevant work experience will also be considered.
