Vice-President of Operations – Industry Group

Hera Human Resources, headhunters in Montreal, is looking for a Vice-President of Operations for an industrial group with several plants in Quebec. This senior management position is responsible for operational excellence across all production sites.

Primary Responsibilities

The VP Operations will define the group’s overall operational strategy, oversee plant managers and drive transformation initiatives. The person will be responsible for optimizing the value chain, standardizing processes across sites, and achieving productivity and quality goals. The role includes managing equipment investments, developing the culture of continuous improvement, and overseeing operations leadership and logistics functions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or administration, ideally complemented by an MBA, and a minimum of fifteen years of experience in managing multi-site operations. Lean Six Sigma expertise, unionized experience and plant management skills are essential.
