Payroll Technician – Multi-Site Company

Hera Human Resources, a recruitment firm in Montreal, is looking for a Payroll Technician for a multi-site company in Quebec. This position is essential to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

The Payroll Technician will be responsible for the complete processing of the payroll cycle for several hundred employees in different establishments. Responsibilities include entering payroll data, calculating hours worked, managing taxable deductions and benefits, government remittances, and producing Records of Employment. The person will also monitor leaves, absences and group insurance plans.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a background in accounting or administration with a specialization in payroll, ideally certification from the National Payroll Institute. A minimum of three years of experience in payroll processing, proficiency in recognized payroll software and financial management skills are key assets.
