A major manufacturing company is looking for an Engineering and Maintenance Director to take charge of maintenance operations as well as the management of technical projects related to a specialized production line.

Reporting to the operations department, this person will ensure the performance, reliability and evolution of the equipment, while mobilizing his team around the challenges of optimization, safety and continuous improvement.

This strategic role is aimed at a seasoned leader, capable of combining a long-term vision with a concrete approach to the field.

What you’ll do:

• Lead preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities
• Plan and execute engineering and investment projects
• Ensure a high level of compliance in terms of health, safety and environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve overall facility performance
• Manage budgets, technical contracts and relations with subcontractors
• Supervise a multidisciplinary technical team

Profile sought:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Significant experience in maintenance and technical project management
• Mobilizing leadership, operational rigor and collaborative approach
• Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of the industrial or manufacturing environment, an important asset
