Maintenance Manager

Job brief
The incumbent is in charge of the overall management of asset maintenance, ensuring efficient planning, optimized management and compliance with the operating expense budget. This role combines technical leadership and team development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the maintenance team by ensuring skills development and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on time, with a high level of efficiency and cost control.
- Manage the maintenance budget, guaranteeing rigorous management aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Implement and monitor maintenance standards to maximize equipment availability and extend asset life.
- Optimize planning and scheduling processes in collaboration with the relevant teams.
- Work in synergy with the Reliability division to improve equipment performance and asset lifecycle management.
- Ensure consistency of maintenance practices across teams and provide support for their implementation.
Profile sought:
- Degree in engineering, maintenance, or equivalent field.
- 5-10 years of experience in asset management and leadership of maintenance teams, ideally in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability-Oriented Maintenance (RCM) methodologies, and planning/programming processes.
- Proven experience in managing operating budgets and optimizing costs.
- Proven leadership with a sense of coaching, team development and continuous improvement.
- Good command of computerized maintenance management (CMMS) tools, ideally IBM Maximo.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to optimize maintenance operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with a focus on team performance and development.
- Fluency in French and English.
