Professional Responsibilities and Skills

  • Workforce and succession strategies: Develop and implement innovative strategies to proactively address staffing and talent needs, to support business growth
  • Leadership in Talent Management: Design and lead innovative initiatives to attract, retain and develop top talent, positioning the company as an employer of choice in a competitive marketplace.
  • Change Management and Leadership Development: Lead change management efforts to support operational growth, while providing coaching and fostering leadership development at all levels of the organization.
  • Labour Relations, Health Safety and Compliance: Ensure harmonious labour relations, in accordance with legal standards and industry best practices, while ensuring a safe working environment for employees.

  • Ability to manage all human resources management, labour relations, compensation and benefits, health, safety and well-being at work and skills development activities in a manner that complements the company’s objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a management committee in achieving operational objectives by providing strong expertise in human resources management.
  • Propensity to support the development and growth of a company through HR expertise and tools
  • Managerial skills: systemic vision and action, sense of the internal and external environment, efficient and effective management, mobilizing leadership, intrapreneurship.

 

Requirements

  • University degree, ideally at the graduate level, in human resources, industrial relations, organizational development or business administration with a specialization in human resources.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, acquired in a manufacturing or industrial environment, as an HR manager, or as a member of the senior HR management.
  • Be a curious person, have a critical and biseness mindset, be focused on collaboration and benevolence and have an ability to communicate with others.
  • Member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA).
  • Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written.
