Job brief
The Terminal Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient transportation activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. His leadership will be key to managing staff, optimizing fleet performance, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
Main responsibilities
- Oversee terminal operations by ensuring compliance with security regulations and internal policies.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Work in partnership with management to implement strategies and improve business processes.
- Ensure effective customer service through proactive management and transparent communication.
- Manage the budgets, operational forecasts and financial performance of the terminal.
- Ensure that all operations comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in terminal management, logistics or transportation operations, ideally in the liquid bulk sector.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the transportation industry.
- Degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management or any other relevant training (asset).
