Production Planner
Description
Under the responsibility of the Planning Director, the person holding the position ensures the planning of the production of his or her sector of activity, the resupply of raw materials and/or packaging material necessary for the realization of production as well as the transfers of finished products.
- Establish, coordinate and organize short-term liquid production needs;
- Establish a long-term production plan for seasonal products that respects customer contracts and ensure production start-up and follow-up;
- Manage and revise the production schedule according to operational constraints and customer requests;
- Plan, monitor and analyze liquor and butter levels, communicate with production and purchasing about production and distribution needs;
- Assess the levels of safety stocks of raw materials and packaging to be kept in stock;
- Create supplier complaints and follow up for corrective action and credit plan;
- Manage inventory levels of finished products, raw materials and certain packaging components;
- Identify inventories that are obsolete or in a state of decay, take immediate action;
- Collaborate with the other plants to maximize the capacity of the equipment at the St-Hyacinthe plant;
- Collaborate with the R&D department to create new products, identify constraints;
- Analyze sales forecasts for certain products and submit corrections to the central planning office;
- Review customer shortage reports and resolve issues. Job Requirements
- DEC in Administration, Industrial Management, Operations Management or equivalent;
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing context; management of a production or supply cycle;
- Bilingualism essential spoken and written (English/French);
- Autonomous person with a good team spirit, with an analytical mind, able to work under pressure, with strong skills in monitoring files and oriented towards
results;
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite;
- Knowledge of SAP and OMP software an asset;
- Be available for weekend replacements.
