Logistics Manager – Supply Chain

Hera Human Resources, an executive search firm in Montreal, is looking for a Logistics Manager for a distribution company across Canada. This key position is responsible for optimizing the entire supply chain, from warehousing to delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager will oversee warehouse operations, transportation, inventory management, and distribution planning. The person will optimize logistics costs, negotiate contracts with carriers and set up performance indicators. The role includes managing a warehouse team, collaborating with operations and purchasing, and implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management or administration, complemented by a minimum of eight years of experience in logistics management. Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP or equivalent), proficiency in WMS/TMS systems, and experience in warehouse management are essential.
