Description

Under the supervision of the owner, the Director of Continuous Improvement is responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement as well as processes to optimize productivity. He leads process improvement workshops, writes and follows up on action plans and coordinates implementation. He participates in the development of process control measures. He has the interests of the company at heart, customer satisfaction and ensures that he or she provides a work performance that meets the requirements of his or her position in compliance with the rules and procedures. · Ensure detailed planning of process improvement projects to ensure effective management. · Write and implement work instructions and develop control tools. · Actively participate in the development and prioritization of initiatives to improve operations. · Work closely with directors and team leaders. · Interact and collaborate with different departments to identify, research, analyze and solve complex problems; These initiatives require cross-functional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation. · Monitor and maintain the established work standards and procedures program. · Ensure change management in the context of all projects.

· Day-to-day management of activities related to continuous improvement and training · Establish and ensure that company procedures and policies are followed and adhered to. · Develop and implement training programs. · Identify and implement performance indicators (KPIs) · Acting as an agent of change · Collaborate with management in the development, implementation and maintenance of the continuous improvement approach · Participate in weekly meetings with the management team and team leaders · Ensure a transition with the teams, at the end of the project, to ensure the sustainability of the actions implemented. · Anticipate project risks and propose avoidance measures. · Document, maintain and implement procedures defined by management.

TRAINING

Experience working as a Director of Continuous Improvement or in a similar position.

Overall vision and analytical

mind· In-depth knowledge of project management and change management.

Excellent knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles and tools with an increased ability to popularize concepts and implement them.

Ability to communicate, influence and listen.

Ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity

· Ability to adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment.

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

HOURLY RATE AND CONDITIONS

· Bonus for achieving the objectives
· 40 hours/week (+ depending on the season)
